ADVISORY All Embassy Clients to Go Through Overseas Voting Registration What to bring during registration? 1. Original or a photocopy of valid Philippine Passport 2. Iqama or Residence Permit 3. (For Seafarers) Photocopy of Seaman's Book or any document to verify that the applicant is a seafarer. This additional service will also be extended to all clients during the scheduled consular outreach or Embassy on Wheels (EOW) around the Kingdom. All Filipinos who will be coming to the Embassy for consular services are advised to arrive at least one (1) hour earlier before their scheduled appointments for passport services or expect extended time at the Embassy for the conduct of the overseas voting registration. END PR-018-2018 ADVISORY ON PASSPORT APPOINTMENT (Riyadh, 01 February 2018) It has come to the attention of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that certain agencies as well as private individuals have been offering assistance to Filipinos in order to obtain an appointment for the purpose of renewing their Philippine passports at the Embassy in Riyadh and during the conduct of mobile consular service or Embassy on Wheels (EOW). These agencies and individuals have been charging an amount for the said service ranging from SR100.00 to SAR500.00. The Embassy reiterates that this practice is not authorized by the Embassy and that obtaining an appointment through the Embassy's website is free of charge. The Filipino community is again reminded to be more vigilant in dealing with such agencies and individuals and to report similar unscrupulous practices to the Embassy by sending an email to: consular@philembassy-riyadh.org . Said agencies and individuals who have been engaged in the said practice should likewise immediately cease and desist from this unauthorized activity. Agencies and individuals selling passport appointment slots may face criminal charges. . In addition, the Embassy would like to announce that it is implementing measures to increase its capacity to better serve a greater number of passport applicants in the coming months. I-check ang link kada linggo para sa update ng mga bagong passport na dumarating. May mga pagkakataong nadi-delay ang releasing ng passport kung may Holiday, problema sa produksiyon ng passport o kung may natural na kalamidad. Maaaring sumulat sa consular@philembassy-riyadh.org kung wala pa ang bagong passport pagkalipas ng 2 buwan upang malaman ang kalagayan ng aplikasyon.
